I just got back from the show. Another great show by Mike and the boys. Here's the setlist in order:

    Reach for the sky (acoustic)
    Story of my life (acoustic)
    Under my thumb
    Six more miles
    Alone and forsaken
    This time darling
    Can't take it with you
    Bye Bye baby
    Highway 101
    Down on the world again
    Mommy's little monster
    Sickboy
    1945
    Winners and losers
    Far Behind

    Encore:
    Prison Bound
    Ring of Fire

Can't take it with you sounded really good live. Much better than the bootlegs going around. They also added a new outro to Sickboy that had "two bags" playing a really cool riff.

Lee Rocker was awesome. It was my first time seeing him live and he did not disapoint. He played approximately 45 minutes. Most of the material was from his new album but he threw in some stray cats also. The highlight for me was when he introduced "rock this town" by saying that it is the third greatest song that he wrote in his father's garage. I would really like to know what the other two songs are.

A side note to anyone going to the show tomorrow. Get there early. For some reason security took the longest I have ever had to wait at the marquee to get in. I arrived at 8:15 and had to wait in the line which stretched to Mill Avenue.

If you are looking for a place to get a few drinks before the show I would suggest Rula Bula on Mill. Great drinks and a lot of Social D fans were hanging out in the bar.

    Cheers!

All I have to say is, I've been going to see Social Distortion since the mid-80's, and this is one of the BEST shows I have ever seen them put on. It just keeps getting better and better as the years roll on, I swear....I'm going back for tonights show, and I agree with Orchid Kid, if you're going tonight, definitely get there EARLY.

I was at the show last night as well. Ive seen social d about 32 times and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Alone and forsaken was unbelievable. They "punk'd" it up a little, its allot faster than the version thats on the b-side to cold feelings.

Lee Rocker put on the best show ive seen him play. Allot of the people standing near me didn't know who he was, but once he started playing I heard allot of good comments.

Oh and the guy with all "SS" tats on his head and white pride tats is douche bag. He would crowd surf then when security pulled him down between the stage and barricade he would give the "heil Hitler" hand gesture (or whatever you call it) to mike.

As far as waiting in line for a long time. The band was snowed in in Colorado. So they where delayed getting to the marquee. They had to open the doors about an hour later than usual. So it really wasn't security's fault. Tonight should go smoothly since the band is already there.
